Soffit and Fascia Installation in Salt Lake City

Soffit and fascia are necessary for protecting your roof from water and moisture damage. That’s why you need knowledgeable and experienced fascia and soffit repair contractors to ensure your home is protected. At M&M Gutters, we’ve been performing soffit roof repair and installing fascia for nearly 30 years, so you can trust that we’ll get the job done right every time.

What Are Soffit and Fascia?

Soffit and fascia are essential to your home’s exterior as they protect against moisture damage and other environmental factors. The soffit goes on the underside of your roof’s overhang to help ventilate your attic and prevent moisture buildup.

The fascia is the board that runs along the edge of your roof, connecting the roof to the walls of your home. It is designed to protect this edging area from weather damage while supporting your gutters.

It is crucial to have proper soffits and fascia on your home to prevent moisture problems like mold, rot, or even structural damage. And since soffits help with ventilation, not having them causes your heating and cooling systems to work harder to maintain comfortable temperatures, which could increase energy costs.

  • Economy — This is the thinnest and least expensive option and is typically used in low-cost housing or temporary structures.
  • Standard — This is a mid-range option that balances cost and durability. It is typically used for residential structures and is designed to withstand moderate weather conditions.
  • Heavy-duty — This is the thickest and most durable option and is ideal for areas with harsh weather conditions.
  • Premium — This is the most expensive option but is highly durable and long-lasting. It is usually used for commercial buildings or high-end residential projects.

They were great with communicating, scheduling was easy. They sent reminders and were on time. The work was good and prices competitive. At first I gave them 4 stars and I was unhappy with the mess of screws and metal pieces left around the yard. After discussion with owner they have arranged to clean up. I would recommend doing a walk around with crew before they leave the worksite.

We had our rain gutters came unattached from our roof. After a couple big storms, the sun came out and we had our entire rooftop of snow coming down in one place. M&M came out while it was raining and snow was melting causing a major downpour. They did a temporary repair to save us from flooding...reshaping our rain gutter and reattaching it to the home. They followed up and had someone come to give us an estimate and he did some minor repairs right then so we wouldn't be charged again. I couldn't be more pleased: kind, thoughtful, professional and reasonably priced!!

The initial estimate process took a little longer than expected due to them rescheduling, then another person showing up the next week, but once someone came out to look at the job I got the estimate quickly. It was a super small job, but the guy who did the install did a good job and was very friendly. I would use them again if needed.

I had several neighbors recommend M&M and they were great! They answered the phone right away, scheduled my appointment quickly, the cleaner was on time and polite. They gave me a free bid as to the cost and no pressure to use them. I did use them and am glad that I did.
